A cacophany of color bursting forth, carrying the scents we crave after a long, cold Winter. Peonies carry the promises Mother Nature brings to us. Revel in the color and the scent! Organic soap with a special scent from the garden. My favorite flower is the Sarah Bernhardt Peony and this one is scented as the real flower. Close your eyes, breathe deep and transport to a field of Peonies. It pleases the senses, by sight and scent. You can’t go wrong with this soap. For yourself or as a gift for that someone special. Handmade soap is priced by weight, not physical size, as well as ingredients included in the bar. Your skin will notice the difference when you use a quality bar of soap. A silky, smoothness will begin with the first shower. Hand cut bars can vary a bit on weight, but this bar averages 5 ounces per bar. No animal products in this soap. I use a top quality, organic, extra virgin olive oil in my soaps. I don’t sell to the public what I wouldn’t use myself, and I don’t use over processed oils to save a few pennies. Olive oil is an exceptional moisturizer for dry skin. Allergic reactions are rare and their is evidence that its antioxidants, vitamin A and E, might protect your skin from sun damage. It pe.netrates deeply into the skin, promoting its elasticity and smoothness. I have included castor oil in this bar. It has a unique fatty acid makeup. Castor oil acts as a humectant and will draw moisture to the skin. A definite bonus. Palm Oil acts in conjunction with the coconut oil to stabilize the lather and produce smooth, creamy bubbles. It also helps with the hardness of the bar producing a longer lasting one. As always, I purchase palm oil only from those who provide a sustainable source. I had a great deal of fun making this bar of soap. The great scent encouraged me to make the presentation very pleasing to the eye. I used a technique, working rapidly, that will give a one of a kind swirly appearance. No two bars are the same. I love this color, which I custom mix, to get the exact shade I require.
